The zoo encompasses 23 acres of tropical landscape that serves as habitat for more than 900 animals from Florida, South and Central America, Asia and Australia. Visitors view the animals along shaded, paved walkways. It is also home to a permanent exhibit on Mayan culture, and a children’s carousel. It lies just southeast of Palm Beach International Airport.
